Software Skill : IBM Content Manager, IBM MQSeries,P-SPICE, TOMCAT, SQL. Areas of Interest : Electronic circuits, Signals & Systems, DSP, VLSI Design, VHDL, Digital Integrated Circuits, Digital Circuits , ALP programming. Education: • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electronics and Communications (E&C) – 2005 - College: East West Institute of Technology, Bangalore. - University: Visveswaraiah Technological University (V.T.U). • Pre University Education (P.U.E) – 2001 - College: K.L.E’s Independent [login to view URL], Bangalore. • Secondary School Learning Certificate (S.S.L.C) – 1999 - School: The New Cambridge High School, Bangalore. Principal Skills: Has undergone six months training on IBM DB2 Content Manager v. 8.2, MQ Series v.5.3, And Web Sphere MQ Workflow v.3.5 at Automated Workflow Pvt Limited v has hands on experience of installation of prerequisites software’s for v IBM DB2 Content Manager v. 8.2, MQ Series v.5.3, and Web Sphere MQ Workflow v.3.5, Web Sphere 5.1, and DB2 on Windows platform. v has also worked on the sample scenarios like” Insurance Claim, Photo Lab” using IBM DB2 Content Manager V.8.2 using the standard client. v And has also worked on the MQ Series v.5.3, and Web Sphere MQ Workflow v.3.5. for building a “Credit Request Process “ using the standard client. v also has familiar knowledge on Java APIs of IBM DB2 Content Manager v. 8.2 and Web Sphere MQ Workflow v.3.5. Projects Done: Project #1 Title : Book Selling Platform : Windows 2000 Software : IBM MQ series 5.3 and Web Sphere MQ Workflow 3.5, IBM DB2 8.2 Description : This project is built on the MQ workflow model, aimed at automating a business process for a company that sells Books. Project is developed using two-tier architecture comprising the team size of two members. Implemented a workflow solution for an order fulfillment process. We use existing programs such as Windows Notepad and fmcsiyes, a small GUI provided with Workflow that lets you click a Yes or No button. In Buildtime we defined data structures and programs to tie the business logic to specific steps in the process logic, that is, activities in the process model. We also developed our custom application using the DOS, by creating a “cmd” file; this is a Windows NT command file for creating a shipping list and an invoice. This command file takes as arguments customer ID, quantity, product ID and total amount due (for that order). It creates two text files representing a shipping list and an invoice. We used a configuration of one MQSeries Workflow Server, one MQSeries Workflow client, one MQSeries server, and one DB2 server, all on the same host machine. Using the MQSeries Workflow API, we were able to programmatically Start, Transfer and Finish the activity as well as assign staff to each activity. Once the staff logs in, the staff receives a work item, and starts working on that activity that’s been sent by the other staff member. Project #2 Title : Claim Process Software : IBM DB2 CM 8.2, IBM DB2 8.1 Platform : Windows 2000 Description : This project is built on the IBM DB2 Content Manager V 8.2, aimed at automating a claim process for a bank that has insurance processing for Automobiles. Project is developed using two-tier architecture using standard client. The Insurance Company deals with automobile claim process for paperless claim processing. They have a well defined, multiple step claims submission, review, and approval process that results in the claims being approved or rejected. The process involves agents, underwriters, and accountants. The final product of the claims process is to approve or reject the claim. The Implementation includes the following steps 1. The process starts when an auto claim form is submitted, scanned and assigned to a claim folder. Based on the claim number process is started. 2. An insurance agent, who verifies the claim applicant’s information, receives the claim form from claim folder. The “Agent” processes this. Based on the assumption, if the amount is greater or lesser, it is routed to appropriate user who in turn processes the claim 3. The process waits for all claim application documents (including claim forms, and automobile photos) to be added to the claim application folder. 4. The process branches depending on whether the claim was approved or rejected. 5. If the underwriter approved the claim application, the claim application folder proceeds to the accountant, who processes a check to pay for the claim submitted. 6. If the underwriter rejected the claim application, the claim application folder proceeds to the assistant and the process ends. Project #3 Title : Photo Lab Platform : Windows 2000 Software : IBM DB2 CM 8.2, IBM DB2 8.1 Description : This project is built on the IBM DB2 Content Manager V 8.2, aimed at automating a photo processing lab. Project is developed using two-tier architecture using standard client. Photo lab deals with photo scanning, photo printing and customer details along with full process automation. The Implementation includes the following steps 1. The process starts when a photo is scanned and assigned to photo folder. 2. User verifies scanned photo, based on certain parameters (such as clarity) he approves and routes the given photo document for printing 3. Later user receives the photo document and processes it. Project # 4 Title : e-Auction Bay Platform : Windows 2000 Software : Servlets, JSP, HTML Description : On-Line auctions have new opportunities that allow almost anyone to seize their entrepreneurial spirit and the world of on-line selling. With this opportunity comes the challenge of managing the entire steps o complete an on-line auction transaction. This is where the Timber Creek Sold! Becomes an important tool in simplifying the auction management process. Sold! Automatically retrieves information for current and completed auction, tracks costs, sends automated e-mails, prepares and posts feedback, tracks the status of an auction -whether you are the seller or a potential buyer. Sold! can even bid for you when you are not available. Academic Project Implemented: 1. Microcontroller Based Security Door Lock (Using PIC16F84) (6th Semester) Location : East West Institute of Technology, Bangalore Duration : 4 Months (April 2004 to July 2004) The project aims to build a security door lock, which can be used for both educational as well as industrial applications. A digital door lock is basically one that takes the input from the user through the keyboard and controls the opening of the door The instrument is built with a 3*4 matrix keyboard, PIC16F84, voltage regulator (lm 7805), LED display to denote whether the entered code is correct or not. Was responsible for the assembly code and the keyboard interfacing to the microcontroller. 2. Simulation systems for testing avionics hardware (using C) (8th semester) Location : National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore. Duration : 2 Months (February 2005 to March 2005). The project aims at monitoring the inputs and then redirecting the obtained input to the specified hardware. The inputs are of 3 types namely analog, discrete and arinc. The input log file is opened using C program and then recognized for its input type and directed to the specific hardware for processing that type of input. The output device consists of I/O dotter board and PIOD64. The type of the input can be seen on the computer screen which is the main controlling device of the whole operation. Was responsible for writing the program code in C language. 3. Toy Universe (using JAVA as front end and SQL database as backend) Location : NIIT, Bangalore. Duration : 3 months (May 1999 to July 1999). This project basically acts as the database for the toys purchased in any super mall. For Example, If any toy has been selected for the purchase then by entering the toy code we get the item no, price, manufacturing date, make, brand name etc and finally after selecting all the toys for the purchase the total transaction will be processed and the sum total is obtained in the bill.
