Custom Theme for OpenCart 1.5.2+
This was accomplished by replacing two templates, (the main header and footer), one css file and a few vQmods. The core Open Cart code is otherwise completely untouched. This greatly eases the use of the site for people who maintain it,( ie: occasional systematic back-ups, updates, upgrades, various other admin and tech-support types). This approach to site modification makes the website portable, like a rug, one can pick it upi and shake it out , or move it under another window ...Completely simple to reset to Open Cart factory default files while leaving the database alone. Simply reset vQmods, choose Theme, and presto - > cosmic reset for the website! I'm new on freelancer and when I figure out how to post an approved link ... it will be here. It's so slick that OC admins are invited to my demo sites on heliohost for a look at what's simply possible ...
