I hold a master's degree with thesis in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana. I have done a great deal of freelance work in the past in both academic and industrial settings. My mathematical specialties include real and complex analysis, linear algebra/hilbert spaces, operator algebras, data modeling and prediction, machine learning, mathematical physics, and imaging. I am also a consummate programmer and can also do almost anything in Matlab, Mathematica, and Latex. No contract is too large or small for me. I have successfully completed projects ranging from doing peoples calculus homework to a three year undertaking to develop machine learning and statistical analysis algorithms for interpreting the noisy and highly multidimensional signals from a "smell-sensing" device. The latter work resulted in the publication of several papers of which I am a co-author. In addition to my contract work, I taught several classes (both standalone and discussion sections) at the UIUC, and tutored many students privately. I am an excellent tutor, and all my private students have been pleased with their progress.
