Dissertation
This dissertation was conducted to study and understand the development of the Korean film industry and the spread of the 'Korean wave' or Korean fever in South Asia. The aim was to summarize and evaluate all the factors that contributed to the Korean film industry ranking amongst the best in the world. Also, to explore how the resulting Korean Wave impacted the Asian countries, particularly its influence on the Chinese population and cinema.
