I need an e-book cover design for a manuscript I am in the process of editing.
It needs to be submitted in (at least) a high res jpeg file.
There are no ongoing royalties as I cannot guarantee the sales of the ebook so I must have exclusive copyrights to the image.

I may ask you to prove the source of the photo/images you are using, especially if they contain people, to ensure that they have been purchased from a legitimate stock (shutterstock etc) and have no copyright entitlements against them. Anyone using images I find have been fraudulently picked up from elsewhere will be rejected and reported. I kid you not, the last time I ran a contest someone tried to use a image from LOTR and claimed it to be their own design!

I have chosen to run this contest to be in line with my own budget and requirements. Don't ask me to guarantee the contest or spend on additional contest options

It must show the title: Sleigh Bells and Shotgun Shells.
It must show my name as: K F Williams

The book is set during Christmas time on a horse sanctuary where a woman is trying to lie low from her violent father. She doesn't succeed and is terrorised by him and his shotgun.

I would like the cover to include the usual festive, colourful and cheerful Christmas themes of decorated trees, reindeer pulled sleighs and presents, but still have a tense and darker aspect due to the threat of violence.

I have no images or set preconceived ideas about layout or fonts so anything is welcome and I will do my best to issue feedback on all entries.

Hi. I did not imply the answer to my question made a difference, I simply asked what category your story was because I wanted to include it on the cover, as often books do. For example, "Story Title, a novel, by Author Name."
