We are looking to design a logo for our upcoming website, Gamesmatic.com (site is currently not public, but available to visit). The logo must be created from scratch, we haven't set any given theme for the site, but here are some requisites:

- the logo must be simple yet visually appealing
- the logo must not contain alot of images, smaller logos (we like to keep it simpler, we believe simple logos are the ones that stand out more)
- the logo must have 2 size versions: 300 x 100 and 600 x 200 (for retina)
- it's prefered that the logo will sit on 1 line (ex. don't break the 2 words, games and matic on 2 different line...underneath)
- the logo is for a gaming site, a mmo/multiplayer site..so child-appealing logos are not the best approach

Usually I like to leave the designer do his thing, come with beautiful ideas and so forth..but here are some ideas that popped in my head.

- a steampunk style logo, given the name has the word matic within
- a fantasy style logo
- gaming magazine type logo, a bit more serious in style, maybe make the 2 words with different colors to create a contrast

These are just some ideas, aren't mandatory but I've posted them just for orientation. Goes without saying, the winner must provide the PSD file for the logo. It's a plus if the logo it's vectorial.
