Design a Logo for a startup company

  Thank you. I have two concerns: 1. Logo reminds me of microsoft windows squares... have you any idea to keep it as simple as it is (cause I like it), but move away from the asociation with windows? 2. How would the white parts be represented on white paper (memo, business card etc...)? Thank you!
