  Thanks to all of you, it was very helpful. I awarded the freelancer who inspired me the most, but every idea was a step closer to the final logo.

  One last suggestion... Victor means WINNER, CHAMPION. Instead of just the letters, the logo can be somehow related to that. Perhaps some TROPHY?

  Think of any other characters organizations. You can put them sideways, one inside the other. Just go crazy.

  Newcomers, forget about the VD as characters, imagine them as a shape, just go crazy. I like flat bold shapes...

  Thanks for the entries so far! Some feedback...
  Good:
  - bold letters, shapes
  - flatness
  - use of initials
  
  Not good:
  - too much gradients
  - organic shapes
  - too much color variations

     I put 14 days for this contest, but I could choose earlier. But as said, don't loose to much time. I don't even need the final logo, just a sketch with an idea is great. I saw your hourly rate is $10, so don't spend more than an hour on it. :)
