  We're amazed at how many excellent, creative and innovative designs came in and we're going to take the next day or two to look carefully at each.
  Unfortunately we can't comment on every entry, but to reiterate, we are looking for an entry focused on the best way to layout the required elements and use the space. Decor and design are secondary.

  Hi Everyone- I really appreciate the huge response to this and everyone's participation.
  
  There really are so many entries and quite a few good ones that I'm going to end the contest a day early.
  
  Please have any final entries submitted by Midnight (00:00) UTC Saturday night/Sunday Morning.
  That's 36 hours from now.
  
  Also, just to note, if you're still working on it - please read the description and notes carefully. I am looking for innovative ways to squeeze the required elements into the small space.

  I appreciate everyone's participation so far and I am trying to give a useful reaction to each entry.
  I've noticed a few points that might be useful to mention here:
  
  -I am seeing some entries that are more focused on the interior design and not the actual layout. The winning entry will be based on creativity and thought on the use of the space and efficiency.
  
  -I've started to realize that sight-lines are important. The bed should not be the focal point from the front door. I'll definitely be thinking about sight-lines moving forward,
  
  -I'm leaning more towards open spaces than divided spaces - the divided spaces seem too austere. (More Barcelona than Tokyo)

  Hi, The wall with the windows, the running dimensions do not add up, ie 31+62+118+118+93 does not add up to 322, it adds up to 422. Could it be 422 on that side?

  Hi, I see you have a drain that has 100mm in diameter near the window, do you have one in another place? I am asking because this type of drain is for toilets, and if you don't have another one like that you shoud put the toilet in the corner near the window. And you will also need a water supply for the toilet.

     Very good observation, thank you.
     In fact that is where the old toilet was, but there is also all of the necessary plumbing in the east wall as well, as indicated on the sketch.
     
     I think the preference is to preserve the window for the main room, but please feel free to come up with any design you like.
