Our goal is to create an animation of a red teardrop falling into a pool of water and having a ripple effect generated. This animation is for the first slider on a new website that we are developing called https://cetec.technology. You can see the existing logo for CETEC on the new website that we are developing. The red teardrop can be seen here: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1403/8677/files/CETEC-Logo-1391x1049.png?8967241800088342011; however, it may be emulated in any other fashion.

The slider on this Shopify website is using Revolution Slider so the animation would be written in HTML5 and it would be able to integrate into the current website design. I will attach the current front page slider's code so that you have an idea of what you'd be working with.

For development purposes, I have attached the revolution slider plugin which can be installed on WordPress.

Your work is the best that I have seen. I need to wait until my client arrives back in the USA (he should be arriving soon) in order to get feedback from him. He wants that red teardrop to be dropping into the water creating a ripple effect. I believe he has the vector graphic file that we could use to make sure that it has the highest resolution possible.

Hi! I´m working on your project. Give me a few hours. I´ll use a 3d fluid simulation. Just to be clear.: you need the red drop to fall from the logo into a water "pound". water will be transparent and droplet will be red. I´m i right? :)

  I believe that it could be a mix of both video and animation or simply video. The dimensions of the slider are 1920x746... The revolution slider plugin (for WordPress is attached for development purposes). The Shopify website's Revolution Slider is edited via an HTML file and that code is attached.

I suppose developing the source code for this Shopify website's revolution slider could be developed initially in WordPress. I have attached the source code for WordPress' Revolution Slider plugin. This may be of use.

A video background would work if HTML5 is not a viable solution. I look forward to seeking the best solution. I would think that the ripple effect would be a video in the background and the red drop from the logo file would move down vertically.
