Description of the website:
At Photo Contest Insider, we keep an up to date, comprehensive list of contests that are live and open to entries, but we are not just a photo contest directory. You tell us what contests you are looking for, and our unique Photo Contest Filter will find them for you.

Our USP
Photo contests are manually reviewed by our team to ensure only the very best make it on to our website. It’s our policy to only list photo contests that are fair.

Comparing to our competitors we are the largest FREE website that collects competitions for our audience: Photographers.

Our target Audience
Photographers (amateur and professional)
Male / Female: 50/50
Age: 25-44
Countries: Predominantly USA, UK and Europe
This target group is very visually focused - because of their profession/hobby/passion -> photography.
They come to our website to look for contests with good terms and conditions which they can trust - so that they can win prizes: publications, photo equipment, cash.
Our value to the target audience is that we save them time to show them only the photo competitions that are usefull for them.

What should our design communicate? (Important company values)
- Passion for Photography
- Trustworthiness
- Always up-to-date

Why do we want a new design?
Because the recent design is not visually attractive, and not 2015 anymore => it was based on an old theme/template from 8 years ago. It makes us look not trustworthy and not up-to-date anymore.

Logo:
- a NEW logo has just been created -> you can find it in the attachments, together with the guide that has been made by the designer of our new logo. On our live website you can't find it yet. We would like to implement the new logo into the new website design.

What do we want?
- We would like to bring this website to 2015 again
- please make the design with the new logo (see attachments).
- We don't want to change the layout of the website (too) much. This website has been around for a long time and we have advertisers that have paid for certain spots. We are open to suggestions, but in general the most of the content should be presented on the same place.
- Less important area: footer -> so you have all the freedom there to change that.
- The Spotlight section and the Featured Contest section should stay as much as they are now (in size and placement)
- a modern design with attitude/personality (see the new logo)
- So basically, we are looking for a creative designer that within the layout can change this website to 2015.

After this contest we would like to have all pages designed of this website. So there is more work, if we find the designer that hits the spot!
