We are a rather new "boutique" IT/hosting provider.
"Boutique" stands for:
- we are a rather small company and intend to never become really big like godaddy.
- we are very individual, personal and close to our clients.
- we are flexible, we listen and we take time to develop the right solution for our clients
- we are cost efficient but not cheap. We do not sell ourselves via the price.

We need a website.
Since we do not know in which direction the website will develop in the next year we want to start with a small "core" website which features our core products/services and basic contact/legal information. Onepage design is possible.

You see our logo there.
We want to have a landing page with a quick overview/entry to our most important products/services.
Something like:
1. http://www.elegantthemes.com/preview/InStyle/
2. http://www.colliers.com

DESIGN GUIDELINES:
ONLY SUBMIT UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL DESIGNS. Anyone submitting an off the shelf (Wordpress) theme will be banned from the contest.
We are very open with colors/icons/organization/ or simply the rest of the page. Be creative!
Onepage (Bootstrap) design is not a must but we have only very little text to start with so it might be a smart choice but I leave that to you.
The design should be modern, calm and conservative. Even though we are a technical company the design should not center around servers, cables, etc...
Like our logo and name of the company the website design should be no hint to what we do. Just the text will give this information
There will be no shop on the website.
The website is for introducing 3 or 4 areas of our services with a short text each.
Target audience are CEOs and Managers. Not Technical staff.
The design should be responsive and look good on computers, tablets and smartphones.

This is a guaranteed contest so we will pay you even if we are not using the design but the plan is that the winner also will get the followup contract of building the website for us.
The website should be based on Wordpress.

Last but still very important: we need you to create an official invoice via freelancer for this (every) project.

when you say "mockup" it only means in PSD format, and not HTML or wordpress or any other CMS template.

  I know. That was the plan. But it seems many want to deliver as a template. We would accept that. But preferred only mockup. Just concentrate on the design.

Regarding Template: We will be using Wordpress as the underlying CMS. Hence you can if you prefer, make a custom template.
BUT if you do that we will have more specifics we ask for. It must be fast and mobile ready and customizable and SEO ready, etc...
We leave the choice to you.

Dear contestants,
there is absolutely no need to ask us via clarification board to check out a certain draft or ask me if I am "there". I am always there. I check every day a couple of times and comment on any draft I seem worthy.
Every draft gets a rating or will be rejected.

regarding invoice: you can use the freelance finance features to create an invoice. Such an invoice would be sufficient for us.

Regarding use of templates: If I recognize your draft as a simple template with our logo on it, I will reject it right away. Only serious, personalized drafts will be considered.
