For benchmark, we would need the large meter. where be have 'compressed size' we could place compression speed and where we have 'uncompressed size' we could place decompression speed in KB/s. I would place the list with details (LZMA:x1, LZMA:x5..) on the right and make it as long as the big meter. Could you please replace the red and yellow bars with the design we use for the progress bar?

for archive info, we could display compressed and uncompressed size, total files and ratio in the big meter. modific. date and attributes can be ignored - so we have to display amount of folders, CRC, archive type, header size, solid mode and number of blocks - and a large place for number of methods (can be 20 methods one below the other).

If i understood well, this is what you mean about putting the info in the statusbar? or you want to see it in the meter itself. (so deleting ratio, compressed size etc. and put there the info?
