For a Wellness Retreat, we need nice small, sofas, to be used for head-and-shoulder massage and foot massage outdoors on sidewalk, where couples can sit together on the same sofa while receiving the treatment. The design should include some fabric/shade/parasol (with our logo on) above and around the sofa to give more privacy against passers-by
Requirements:
Elegant look
High quality
Comfortable
Relaxing, possible to lean back
Low weight, easy to move
Wood and canvas materials
Colors - mainly brown and beige, plus green

We want to get complete drawings and descriptions which we can send to the workshop to produce the sofa.

    To Vicente and other interested designers. I have now uploaded a rough sketch of an idea which would meet most of our requirements, with a double chair plus a feet rest (ottoman). Removable cushions are preferable, and they can certainly be made to look more inviting and luxurious than in the drawing, but still with a simple, modern, Asian inspired design.

    Hi Vicente, Thank you for your message! The reason I stated wood and fabrics only was that this is usually seen as more inviting and also more environmentally friendly. You are, of course, right in that other materials can be more lightweight and sturdy, and I am open to using also aluminium and vinyl materials as long as the furniture looks really elegant and not "cheap". Cheers!

    Hi, dear contest holder, materials are limited to wood and fabrics only? As I understand this item needs to be an outdoor type. How about aluminum frames and vinyl materials. It is more lightweight and sturdy as well as design-wise, practical. I was in the furniture industry for 20 years. We are the one supplying Whitecraft by Woodard in the U.S. their outdoor furniture.
