Opening titles (a minimum of 5 seconds) • Motion design elements such as lower thirds, text design, transitions, etc. (a minimum of 10 seconds) • Logo animation at the end of the video (a minimum of 5 seconds)
Prepare, create, and finalise the graphic images you require using Photoshop; Illustrator etc. Ensure that all images are royalty free and that at least 50% of the images used are you own work.
Once finalised, import these images into After Effects to animate using 1920x1080 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 25 fps. Incorporate animation principles such as timing, pace vs speed, arcs, etc.
• Your opening title sequence must have a minimum of 5 seconds, outlining the project title, and the name of the producer or the production company. You should utilise appropriate type elements and geometric shapes to make the opening sequence interesting. You may also include text animations of the cast and crew if appropriate.
You are required to add motion design elements into the video footage to enhance the viewer experience. You may utilise animated type effects, geometric shapes, etc. such as onscreen instructions, visual effects, lower thirds, transitions, etc. The combined duration should be a minimum of 10 seconds throughout the video.
