Hi all, my name is Zack Meade and I'm the assistant director of marketing over at Mecklenburg Community Church in Charlotte, NC. Coming up is the biggest time of the year for churches, Christmas. This Christmas our creative team came up with an idea, we just need people to execute it. We definetley want someone who is very knowledgeable and proficient in Adobe After Effects, considering that is where the majority (if not all) of the project will be created in.
The goal of this video is to show all the Christmas traditions that families partake in. Things like; ice skating, seeing Christmas lights, drinking hot chocolate, making Christmas cookies, etc... And at the end of the video have "Christmas at Meck" become part of their Christmas tradition.
The person that will be the highlight of the video will be scrolling through Instagram. As they come across a post of a Christmas tradition, a hologram of that activity will appear from their phone. I'm thinking, if the post is a family ice skating, a hologram of figure skates will rotate around the phone. As the person keeps scrolling, they might see a family looking at Christmas lights, then a hologram of a Christmass tree will rotate around the phone.
Once it shows all the Christmas traditions they'll continue scrolling and it'll stop on a picture of Meck (Our church). As the person sees this, a hand will reach out of the phone grabbing them into the phone and footage of Christmas at Meck will roll. I'm not sure if you've seen the DaBaby music video "Pick Up", but that's where the idea originated from. At the end we'll throw up a logo we have already made.
