I need a program, much like a simpler Windows Media Player, that allows users to view multimedia content (mainly music videos). Only files in the format of the program, .frz, should be able to be opened and viewed. I am going to call the program Frenza!Media, so the files will be in .frz format. I will also need a way to convert video and sound files to .frz format (I'll need a new algorithm/format/encoding for .frz files). I will want to put this program on CD ROM and install it on computers. In short, I need a simple Windows Media Player clone (that only plays music and video files). I want it as cost efficient as possible. If any components are going to drive up the price, I will want to negotiate to leave them out or change them up. Also, I need it written in C++, if at all possible. I'll want the code written in Microsoft Notepad so i can tweak it and compile it on MinGW. Any takers?

hi, i can give you a mediaplayer clasic (open source player) mod which will fit your requirements perfectly. but if you need a new player from scratch that will cost you much more. thank you.
