199492 Data Entry - PDF to CSV

This project entails the extraction of data / retyping of data from a searchable PDF catalogue and input into a specified CSV format. Its ultimate destination is into a database. I can supply you with the searchable PDF or an unformatted excel spreadsheet.

There are approximately 2000 items in the catalogs, and 100 pictures. Images must be extracted from the catalog, and saved- using the image number as displayed within the catalog. Item details must be typed into the csv format. There are up to 12 columns of data- although each item in the catalog may not have information for each column in the csv file. (some items may not have a description, or title, for example. So a keen eye for detail will be needed. most records have only 6 fields)

Deliverables from winning bidder:

CSV file containing all item data, in the correct columns

All images, correctly named, and also referenced within the csv file.

A sample page from the PDF has been included, to illustrate the job. Fast turnaround and quality of work are important to this project. There will likely be additional work for the winning bidder, if quality of work is good. Your input into the project, including the methodology is welcome.
