I am looking for experienced academic proofreaders to proofread PhDs (mainly in the social sciences). You must be a native English speaker or have native English proficiency.
PhDs are hard, both to write and proofread. If you've got patience and attention to detail, get in touch.
When you do, please provide an estimate for:
Proofreading an 80,000-word thesis and a rough turnaround time.
Proofreading a 10,000-word chapter and a rough turnaround time.
I appreciate that it can be difficult to come up with such figures, but it'll help you to know that most of the work will be from people for whom English is a second language.
Note this will be a fixed price job, rather than hourly. If all works well, you'll receive a steady stream of PhDs.
You must have previous experience in academic proofreading/editing and, ideally, also a PhD.
