My company, Courtroom5, helps people represent themselves in civil court. Much of our work is content and information. We create learning materials so that people understand legal concepts enough to perform better in their cases. Our website is at [login to view URL] We are in need of people to help us build an “elements” database for our customers.
For this project, I need someone to help me organize and cleanup or build tables for the data that is coming in. Below are the first instructions for one part of the assignment. You will need a spreadsheet that will let you work on a table and download it as an Excel or .csv.
You will be taking data from text and putting it into a table in the right rows and columns. I can send you a sample table to show you how it should look. Copy the information from the text into the spreadsheet. The elements are number separate each numbered element out and put on separate columns G, H, I, J…(depending on the number of elements). 2. Start with the number 1.
End each element with a period. 5. If you see letters a. And b. put them with whatever element number they’re in (See Row 2 on “New Table Example”) There are other jobs we will need done in the future.
