Customer sign up as part of the process of downloading the app
multiple categories at the top: Deals Nearby, Things To Do, Eat & Drink, Accommodation, Events (ability to + & - categories)
Initially the app will be built for one city however we would also like a search button so a consumer can search for other cities (see the TripAdvisor app). In this search button if a consumer starts typing a word like an attraction, restaurant then it should show and allow them to go directly to that point of interest.
Location map - through Google Maps API. So customers can also search what's nearby: [login to view URL]
Deals Nearby - category at the top we would like this to be based on location and set to a 10km radius
On the home page - Netflix style image carousel for the categories and locations: [login to view URL]
Notifications - to alert consumers of new deals
Video and image capabilities at product and destination level
E-Commerce / Payment Gateway - needs to be set up for consumers to make purchases/transactions via credit card.
Reviews - We would like to automatically display the Google Reviews API for businesses we list: [login to view URL]
Filters - (sort by - ranking, Price - low to high), Deals, Popular - i.e most booked. Other filters or businesses that can be tagged like Adventure, Adrenalin, Luxury, Value, cuisine etc
Business Listings - to display all basic info like: About section (with perhaps up to 1000 characters for description) phone number, address, video, images, Menu, specials. If possible, can this vary between categories i.e for the activity category we wouldn't need to display menu?
Product Listings - Within a business they may load various products (particularly in the activities sector) here is an example: [login to view URL] where we would like to see a second level for products which will show different descriptions, pricing, Start Time, Duation and imagery to the operators main business listing. Love Heart on each business to allow consumers to Save their favourite businesses
When the customer goes to purchase - They will need to enter the following booking details: The amount of adults, seniors, children and infants traveling, date of travel, product purchased, A lead traveler name, a phone number
booking confirmation email and voucher needs to be created & sent to the client
Business - Sign up - Potentially something simple like this: [login to view URL] They enter an email address and password to sign up and then next step is creating their business listing i.e business name, address, phone number, images to upload, video to upload, different products if required, descriptions, functional pricing (gross price and net price, commission level), how many available, season/days available i.e calendar year or only on Mondays, deals, cancellation policy, product details like start time, duration, etc
Business - would then enter finance details - bank info - for us to pay them. They would also enter any internal booking info like what email address they would like their bookings to go through, our internal contact for that business with their phone number etc.
Reporting - We need to able to track bookings via reporting. Do you offer any of this? It will most likely pull through to a CRM (tbc).
