Game Concept
We're looking for a development team to create a game like Slotomania ([login to view URL]) but with more interactive bonus mini-games tied into the slot component.
Players will receive a limited amount of currency per hour, and will need to purchase more currency if they desire to play more and what the freely allotted currency allows them to. Additionally there will be a viral/friends/social component where players are encouraged to invite their friends.
Art Design
Artwork in the game should be animated, cute and accessible for a wide audience. Images and art should be representational, not realistic, with a fun, tongue-in-cheek vibe.
Interface
The game interface should be intuitive. Currently anticipated UI includes the following elements:
- Welcome Screen with background story introduction
- Registration via Facbook
- Invite friends
- Select Slot Game
- Message Center
- Buy Points
- Buy Items
- View Achievements
- View Story
- Options
Operating System & Devices Supported
The game should be made for iOS and run on iPhone 3 to iPhone 5 models.
Analytics
A metrics and reporting harness should be built into the game platform to determine basic game metrics. Average session time, number of spins per player, which slots are most popular, which players are most valuable, etc… An open source system such as Flurry or Localytics may be used.
Multilingual Support
The game should support multiple languages by design. The initial game will launch in English only. Later translations should be easily supported by the game platform and UI. Anticipated languages are: Chinese, Korean, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Spanish.
Server Requirements
Server side DB and tools should utilize open source products wherever possible to keep costs to a minimum (linux, mysql). Server side hosting is anticipated through an on demand system like Amazon.
