10Bit coupon generator

Summery

[login to view URL] (Woocommerce) sells plugins for various platforms and various service providers, with some of the providers we have an agreement to provide the end customer with a coupon code which upon adding to the cart provides them a discount on the product price + installation.

Today the procedure is tedious , the service provider asks for a coupon (or coupons) we send the coupon to the customer , the customer buys the product and we send email to the customer asking for access credentials to their system.

We want to make this process automated as much as possible

User Story 1 :

As a service provider I would like to be able to generate a coupon code , and send a direct purchase link to my customer

Flow : service provider logs in to the coupon generator page, each provide will have its own username/ password

The service provide enters the following :

Customer name (textbox)

Customer phone (textbox)

Customer email (textbox + validation)

Domain Name (textbox + validation)

products (dropdown - each provider has a diffrent list of products)

Include installation (checkbox)

Additional data (textarea)

and clicks Create

The generator will create a coupon code for the specific product (product discount , 1 time usage, fixed precentage - hardcoded for now )

each coupon will have a unique prefix per provided (tr- for tranzila , cg- for creditguard etc ...)

each coupon code will be unique ( prefix+pltaform+timestamp , ex : tr-woocommerce-123456654 )

the generator will send an email (from a predefined template) with the coupon code to the customer and to the provider's email

the email should contain a link that will add the item and the coupon to the order (+ special fields)

Predefined template will be html and will look like:

Hello <customername>

As a valued <Provider name> customer you are eligable to to receive < item name > for a special discount of <discount precentage>

Please follow the link to purchaes the item < item name >

User Story 2 :

As a customer i would like to click on a link and go directly to the cart with the discounted price

Flow :

Customer click on a link in the email , the item is added to the cart , coupon added , domain name added , installation added (if selected)

the customer pays for the order

upon payment a license is added to the order (we will provide a function that you will need to call)

the license is added to the thank you email to the customer and to the new order email sent to site owner

if plugin installation was selected another (HTML) email is sent to the customer with request of login credentials

* this can be part of the thank you email

login credentials might be

* Site admin credentials

* FTP access

* third party credentials

each product will define the credentials

Notes :

* user can add several products the cart , this develpoment shold not block this functionality
