At Trinity University we are hosting a Soccer "tailgate" event for the final home Soccer game of the season with the Trinity University Tigers against the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) Banana Slugs. This event will have free food (including banana splits!), music, and a sign making station and will take place on Oct. 27th from 5:30-7PM on the Beze/Herndon Lawn. The soccer game follows directly after starting at 7PM.
We are envisioning our advertisement to say- "Split the Slugs" and "Tigers vs. Banana Slugs" and a picture of a banana split with the mascot banana slug (or something similar) used as the banana of the banana split graphic.
Another vision we had was having a Tiger and a Slug fighting one another- maybe the Trinity Tiger can have the slug hanging from its mouth.
Smaller text should include the date, time, location, and information that there will be free food, a sign making station and communicate that we will go to the soccer game after the event.
We are open to creativity and ideas!
