We are looking to hire a part-time SEO specialist with a broad and integrative view in all aspects of digital marketing, including content, social media, and paid advertising; he/she must have a thorough understanding of digital media and branding as a whole and how it relates to the end user.
If you are a person of integrity with a positive attitude and have 4+ years of SEO experience, keep reading!
This is a long-term position! Applicants will first be asked to complete a series of assessment tests and put together a 30-day game plan with a thorough audit of the website to validate their experience, attention to detail and communication skills. I will likely hire multiple candidates for this phase to find the best professional. The chosen individual will be hired long-term.

REFERENCES
The candidate must have an established track record with recent results and be very transparent about their techniques and methodologies. Provide content (perhaps a blog) we can review that spells out your approach.
Question 1: What have you been able to do in terms of rankings for your latest clients and what kind of techniques you used to get them there? Please provide case studies and three current client references we may contact for more information.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The candidate must be constantly aware of any news in regards to SEO. He/she must be able to adapt current best practices and create sustainable results. One with a real “can-do” attitude, who thrives on finding solutions to obstacles and roadblocks that may pop up along the way.

The candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of technical SEO; must be familiar with backend data and have a deep understanding of how the structure of the website contributes to SEO performance.
Question 4: Are you able, and do you have the willingness to change coding philosophies, meta-tagging and be heavily involved in the development process?
4 - Able to Write Content
The candidate must be able to write engaging and SEO-friendly content (or have reliable access to a pack of hungry writers at their disposal).
Question 5: What services are included for content creation?

Question 6: What backlink techniques would you consider for a website and how do you intend to balance keyword and link density/quantity with quality?
6 - Has Access to Robust Tools and Processes
The candidate must utilize robust tools, analytics and processes for benchmarking and measuring performance that support best practices and brand expansion.
The candidate must identify and understand the role of all channels that impact SEO; he/she also should have deep understanding of how to translate relevant data, examine our successes and failures to determine the company’s next strategic move.
Question 7: What methods do you use to measure your results, and how do you know where those results are coming from?
7 - Consistent With Reporting
The candidate must be organized, detailed and consistent in their weekly reports and all work being done.
