Server Transition (Session Timeout Issue)

We have transitioned our website from a Shared server to a VPS server of another vendor. The user logs out immediately on the first click after log in. This issue is occuring only on the VPS Server and not on the Shared Server, though the code is same.
Requirement is urgent.
