React Native Expo mobile app proof of concept required

I require a small React Native Expo mobile app, written in Visual Studio Code ideally, that can run a foreground and background task (when started by button press) that gets the user's location and sends those coordinates to an API endpoint. The tasks must be stopped by another button press. It needs to just be a general proof of concept that works on both Android and iOS, so as long as it fills the brief the details are not essential. It must be able to demonstrate that the location tracking and sending works reliably in both foreground and background mode.
The tasks must run consistently and for long periods (potentially) when the app is both in the foreground, or in the background (including locked screen). The task must not run when the application is terminated.
If you want to use 3rd party libraries with licensing costs, please detail that in your response.
You must be able to demo the application working in both virtual device and actual mobile device/phone.
