Our company produces hair "look" books that sell the hair salons and barber shops. these books are kept in the reception area of the hair salon or at the hairstylists station and used for the following purposes.
1) update the hairstylists on current trends in hair fashion
2) give the client ideas on hairstyle choices
3) use as a communication tool between the hairstylist and client
4) allow manufacturers of shampoos, conditioners, styling aids or styling tools to tie in hair fashion with their products.
We have thousands of hair images in our archives that we can digitize or area already digitized. using these as a library, I would like to develop an application that allows us to do the above functions as well as incorporate new features, such as personalizing the database with a hairdresser's own images, etc. i am attending a trade show in a month and would like to present a demo of this application at the event.
