Hello,
What I need is pretty simple, hope that it can work well both ways for us.
The purpose of this app is to take democracy where young people are. Providing a weekly notifications that matter to the user (but we are starting with a very small version of the project).
I am looking for a developer that has used or wants to learn how to use Firebase. I am also flexible to discuss what can be done or not in 5 days, I am really interested in someone who is willing to have 15-30 minute videochats everyday and see what we can learn from each other (as I am an Android Developer myself) and be friends, as I will need developers for future applications :). I dont want to ages doing a specification, hopefully we can have an initial chat, get advice and suggestions from you and start developing this togather :).
What my app already has:
- List Adapter with the right display format
- Firebase basic data storage tree
What my app needs:
- incorporate Firebase Facebook and email login
- List Adapter gets updated automatically when the petitions get updated in Firebase
- Click on "Sign" for every petition takes you to a detail activity with the detail of the petition from Firebase
- App keeps track of which petitions the user "sign" or "disagree"
Optional:
- Send a push notification to the user every time data from Firebase changes (should be every week)

i think sync adapter will be the solution for periodic updates, i haven't use firebase yet, but would like to learn. I know gcm push service well. let me know your requirements in detail
