52399 OSC: Too many cart DB queries

This is a Oscommerce MS2. It should be possible to reduce some of the DB queries in my shopping_cart.php. With only 15 products added, the cart shows 212 queries on a query debug output (see attached file). It looks like it is doing the same queries again and again. The page take way to long time to load and I need it reduced. I have installed "Ship in cart" contribution to show shipping cost in the shopping cart.
