It will be template driven PHP with MYSQL backend The primary view should contain some of the features found at [url removed, login to view] , but with a much cleaner interface and modifications that we will discuss and agree on upfront. Should include payment gateway for Paypal and Credit Card Processing Use registration should provide email verification by emailing final registration link to the provided email address. User Interface: Should be clean and snazzy Will present a monthly calendar view, showing current month Drop down menus to pre-select location (country, state,city, zip), Time (Year, Month Day) and Event Type Clicking on any day will display qualifying events starting that day for the next x (user configurable) days Should be able to navigate to NEXT and PREVIOUS months Clicking on any event will display event details ‘Featured' events will display in bold Should have a bottom inviting them to have events automatically emailed to them. After they select events, request registration information if they are not already registered. Should invite visitors to post their own events (Then ask for the registration and payment info) Should have a display of FEATURED EVENTS. These events will cost more. Should provide space for scrolling advertisement Will need to provide link for XML output from a streaming audio program. (I will provide XML link) Will need to design logo for site Should include a resource scheduling applet that will interface with the events calendar User Types: All users including Guest users (with no registration info) can view and search calendar by Location Date Activity Type Keyword search Registered Users can also Request events to be automatically emailed to them, based on criteria specified Submit and edit their own events after they have paid and have enough balance in their account Administrator can Approve submitted events and changes to be posted to site Can designate a certain user to be able to automatically post events without going thru pre-approval Will perform normal configuration functions Will perform all financial transactions Calendar features: Should have features described in [url removed, login to view] I am open to discuss which features you wish to leave out.
