I need a script that lets people sign up on our website to have the top 50 deals emailed to them every month.

Subscribe:

There will be a form on the website to enter their email to subscribe. Once form is completed, they will get an email asking them to verify email by clicking a link. Once link is clicked, they are officially verified and subscribed. Check to see if they are already on the subscribe or the unsubscribe list. If their email is already on the subscribe list, notify them that they already subscribed. If their email is already on the unsubscribe list, ask them if they want to re-subscribe?

Upload:

There should be a way to upload a file of emails or paste a bunch of emails using text field directly into the program. This will be good for those who sign up [url removed, login to view] the uploaded list and remove any email that is already on the subscribe or the unsubscribe list. Also check to make sure emails have the right syntax (deliverable).

Send:

This could be done as a cron job. Once a month, the script is run to send the top 50 deals to all those on the subscribe list. We already have a simple script to generate the top 50 deals (see website at [url removed, login to view]) so all we have to do is include the code in the email script. We should throttle the sending of emails to once every 10 seconds with a maximum of 360 emails in an hour so as not to hurt the server. I want an email notification when email sending begins and when it ends. There should be an easy "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of the email.

Stats:

We need a way to monitor how many emails were sent, how many were opened. We need to monitor the clicks on the deals too but that's already built into our top 50 script.
