Affiliate Tracking Software

I was looking at building a software that helps with performance tracking on websites, however, actions that are referred by a certain set of people, basically by Affiliates. Let me explain with an illustration; take for instance a website jusmobi.com. Suppose you had appointed two people who serve as Affiliates for your website, and whose job is to endorse your service and drive leads to your website.

In the above case to facilitate the tracking you would need to provide your Affiliate the following main elements:

1) Affiliate ID: Serves as a unique identification code for a person. This helps the system identify who was the Affiliate that referred the lead. In normal cases, the Affiliate ID comes in the form of:[url removed, login to view]

2) Click Tracking Code: This is a piece of code that's placed on the merchant site. In this case, a code would be placed on every page of jusmobi.com. This way whenever a person is referred from "A" website to JusMobi, there will be a code that will be able to identify this and then place this information in the cookie for future use. From what I understand, this is the major bit of code that if once sorted takes care of all the other tracking required

3) Conversion Tracking Code: The final code that tracks the conversion of a person from being a lead to either a Sale, or signing up on a form on the website
