JOB DESCRIPTION
Webmaster/Link Manager
Duties
· Design simple but attractive 20-25 content-based websites. Each website will have 5-10 pages of content initially; the content will be provided
· Perform competent SEO work and manually submit sites to major SEs and relevant directories
· Maintain and update websites adding more content on a regular basis as it becomes available (1-2 pages every 2 weeks for each website); again, this additional content will be provided
· Seek out and contact appropriate link partners from sites that must be similar in theme and place their reciprocal link on appropriate pages of the websites. Correspond with link partners as necessary
You will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Productivity Expectation: Website Design:
We expect that all 20-25 websites will be designed to our satisfaction, published online and manually submitted to major SEs and relevant directories within first 45 days.
Productivity Expectation: Link Building:
We expect you to have approximately 100 successful link exchanges per week; you will be working on link exchanges for 4-5 websites each week
At the beginning of each week, you will notify us which sites you plan to work on that week At the end of each week, you will need to return a spreadsheet of reciprocal urls (urls where we can find our links).
Conditions for Link Building
You will NOT be allowed to send out boilerplate spam reciprocal link requests using automated tools. Every link-exchange request will have to be personalized email, each and every time.
You will carbon copy each reciprocal link email you send to a special email address that we will provide you with. This is so that we can monitor that each email is unique and personalized
Requirements
You will need to have the following:
A reliable Internet access
Good writing skills in English
Accessibility via email (we will provide you with an email account)
Ability to work independently
Some experience in reciprocal link building
Availability via Yahoo or MSN messenger.

The initial work of designing and publsihing websites ALSO includes creating a web-based backend control panel on MySQL whereby the content for all the websites can be easily managed from any internet connection.
In regards to the upkeep and maintenance of Websites, it is expected that you will also design and place banners and other revenue generating ads on all of the websites as needed.

WE DID NOT ANTICIPATE THAT OUR CALLING FOR A SMALL TEST PROJECT IN AN EFFORT TO FIND OUT THE MOST APPROPRIATE CANDIDATE FOR THE JOB WILL BE TAKEN BY SOME AS POSSIBLY HAVING A HIDDEN AGENDA TO GET OTHERS TO PROVIDE US WITH "FREE WORK".
IT IS SAD THAT SOME EMPLOYERS MIGHT HAVE EMPLOYED SUCH UNETHICAL TACTICS IN THE PAST.
