Create a Wordpress Template

I need some customisation on a wordpress classified ads website template.
The template I want to use is this:
[login to view URL], but is missing some key element that are required, which i need to be customised / changed. The template will be purchased, so yo udo not need to cpy the site or start from scratch. Thanks.
Customisation items are:
1) On the categories section of the above template, I want to use images instead of icons
so to change from looking like this;
[login to view URL] (see 'ADS CATEGORIES' section)
To look like this one:
[login to view URL] (see 'BROWSE AD CATEGORIES' section)
2) on the ad locations section –
Change to have images and not just location names.
so to change from looking like this
[login to view URL]
AND CHANGE to look like this:
[login to view URL] (see EXPLORE THE LOCATIONS section)
3) Change webiste register / login to require only email and password and not user name & password.
I would have used the template i want to replicate but there are key element missing from it.
