Some further details.
I have a script that works like an image gallery. It is very simple. The script looks inside a folder of images and displays those images on a webpage as thumbnails. You click the thumbnail and it takes you to the full size image on another page.
I would like the page to also look for a text file with the same name as the image and display whatever text is in the .txt file on the full size image page.
So if the script sees an image called tree.png it will display tree.png on the page but what I need of this project is the script to also look for tree.txt
tree.txt would be a txt file that has plain text in it, i would like this text included on the full image page.
