I have an unfinished PHP script that I'd like some features added to.
It is a PayPal payment script that is written in PHP and uses a MYSQL database.
Currently, the user must manually install the script be typing in the MYSQL database settings and then running an install file to create the tables. I'd like a full installer developed that a user enters in the database info into an HTML form and the script writes that info to the config file and then creates the tables automatically.
I'll also need to password protect the current admin area. It is currently not protected.
Most of the initial edits I'll be asking for are fairly simple, but after that, I'd also like to improve the script with other features like total # of sales, ability to add coupons, one-time-offers, etc. We can discuss further after you are hired. The smaller edits are to make sure you can code the more advanced features.
So, this could be a long-term assignment, maybe over a few months.
Initially, I need developed:
> An install script that adds the MYSQL database info and script settings to the config file.
> Header & Footer
> Password protection
> Some other simple edits
