Sales management and analytics web application

My company is looking for a senior rails developer to help us building our main business application.

A proof of concept have already been developed. The rails developer sill help build on this first piece.

My company sale products and needs to be able to handle :

customer relationship

marketing actions

products

inventory

orders / orders statuses

payments (we do not do online sale)

We target a database of 20 millions potential clients.

The rails developer must have proven track on :

authentication and authorization

i18n

audit of models (audited, papertrail)

medium size database management, migration, scaling

complex forms, ajax

knowledge of gems/means to perform effective/fast analytics on databases records.

cloud deployment expertise and scaling (our web app must be hosted in the cloud)

handle a system that needs near 0 downtime (as far as it is possible), users are spread worldwide in different time zones

pragmatic and able to clearly communicate how to reach goals
