We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Appointment Setter & Driver/Owner Operator Recruiter to join our team at [login to view URL] . In this role, you will be responsible for generating sales appointments through cold calling potential clients and offering our specialized driver/owner operator recruiting services. You will play a vital role in expanding our client base and growing our fleet with qualified and reliable drivers/owner operators.
Responsibilities:
Conduct cold calls to potential trucking companies, introducing our driver/owner operator recruiting services and scheduling sales appointments.
Qualify leads and assess the client's needs to determine if our services align with their requirements.
Present the benefits of our driver/owner operator recruitment solutions to potential clients in a clear and compelling manner.
Maintain a strong understanding of our services, pricing, and competitive advantages to effectively communicate with prospects.
Effectively use CRM tools or databases to manage leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads and appointments.
Utilize various channels to reach out to potential drivers/owner operators, such as online job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
Conduct initial phone screenings to assess driver/owner operator qualifications, experience, and fit with our clients' needs.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with drivers/owner operators, guiding them through the application and onboarding process.
Communicate regularly with the operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for recruited drivers/owner operators.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales or appointment setting, preferably in the trucking or transportation industry.
Familiarity with cold calling techniques and the ability to handle objections effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with potential clients and driver/owner operator candidates.
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet targets.
Knowledge of the trucking industry, including driver/owner operator requirements and qualifications, is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and self-driven attitude.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for lead management and tracking.
