The objective of this project is to develop a backup solution that can provide users with the option to choose from full, incremental, and differential backup, with an easy-to-use UI that works seamlessly in Windows 7/10/11. The backup solution must be able to save daily/weekly app/system data backup, system state backup, and system restore backup to specific folders.
The backup solution will include the following features:
Option to choose from Full, Incremental, and Differential backup: This feature will enable users to choose the type of backup they want to perform, depending on their needs. The solution will provide options for full, incremental, and differential backup.
Easy to use UI: The solution will be designed with an easy-to-use UI, making it user-friendly and intuitive.
Save daily/weekly App/System data backup to a specific folder: This feature will enable the backup solution to save daily/weekly app/system data backup to a specific folder. This will ensure that there is a backup of the latest data, allowing for quick restoration of the system in case of any system crashes.
Save daily/weekly System State backup to a specific folder: This feature will allow the backup solution to maintain the backup of system state in a designated folder. The latest system state backup will be stored here, allowing for quick restoration of the system in case of any system crashes.
Save daily/Weekly System Restore to a specific folder: This feature will enable the backup solution to maintain the backup of system restore in a designated folder. The latest system restore backup will be stored here, allowing for quick restoration of the system in case of any system crashes.
Auto-detection of designated USB & Copy folder data to USB as per defined schedule without user intervention/access to system: This feature will enable the backup solution to automatically detect a designated USB and copy the backup data to it as per a defined schedule. This will automate the backup process, making it easier to manage daily/weekly/monthly backups on the USB without the need for manual intervention.
Create granular backup logs with detailed metadata: This feature will allow the backup solution to create granular backup logs with detailed metadata. This will enable administrators to track the backup process and easily identify any errors or issues that may arise during the backup process.
Periodically send data backup/copy logs with detailed metadata to designated authority: This feature will enable the backup solution to periodically send data backup/copy logs with detailed metadata to a designated authority. This will help to keep stakeholders informed of the backup process and ensure that any issues are quickly identified and resolved.
Maintain hierarchy of system state and system restore data file: This feature will ensure that the backup solution maintains the hierarchy of system state and system restore data files. This will enable administrators to quickly identify the latest backup and ensure that the system can be restored quickly in case of any system crashes.
Maintain system restore and system state data of last 7 days: This feature will ensure that the backup solution maintains the system restore and system state data of the last seven days. This will ensure zero data loss and enable the restoration of data from any of the last seven days in case of any system crashes.
Export logs and settings: This feature will allow administrators to export logs and settings, enabling them to transfer the backup data to other systems or store it for future reference.
