i have bought existing classifieds wp theme to modify to a simplier one:

the new modified theme would look similar as big G:
- search box in the header
- under the search box showing listing (with thumbnail) the latest posted or modified classifieds
- right column for showing advertisements (like google)
- when clicking on a classified it shows details (or if it's an affiliate feed from ebay or amazon, it goes directly to affiliate links)
- classifieds admin links (like google) in header
- like google, the logo is placed just above the searchbox
