The system is designed as an integrated structure having the inventory, storage and distribution sections working together to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information throughout the whole process. The Track 'n Trace system utilises serialised linear bar codes which contains not only the batch number of the product, the expiry date of the product, and the product's unique Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN), but also a unique serial number for each individual vial within the batch.
