Drawing its inspiration from the minimalist artists of the late 50s and 60s, Christopher Waller's AW11 collection presents classic soft tailoring with luxury sportswear undertones. Using fluid fabrics such as silk, jersey and finely woven wool, Christopher Waller creates clean-lined, highly-wearable pieces that are both ultra-chic and effortless. Bold block colouring in muted earth tones such as slate, stone, aubergine, dusty pink and black feature throughout, while silk panelling on jersey and wool pieces adds texture and dimension to an otherwise minimal aesthetic. Highlights of the collection include a deconstructed silk and fine wool box blazer in muted block colours and a jersey T-dress with a taped silk seam.
