Concept & Sketch of Doll Character (Face Only)

Hi,

We are looking for 2-3 Manga style doll characters (color sketches or 3d) especially faces & facial features in extreme detail in first phase. For rest of the body, we will post another contest.

Dolls ethnicity and facial features should be Asian/Arabic . We are providing 3 sets for sample faces. Each set contains 3 faces for features inspiration like eyes, eye brows, lips, bone lines etc.

Selected dolls faces will be used to manufacture the physical 1.5-2 ft. doll models to be sold in international market so it is a chance to be recognized world wide with long term attachment for complete apparel, jewellery and styling line for the doll models. Please make sure to pay extreme attention to the following points and sample images during the concept, creation and sketch process.

1. Dolls gender is female and age of the doll characters should be 15-16 years (adolescent girl).
2. Dolls ethnicity and facial features should ideally be Asian/Arabic.
3. Dolls body will be slender so face should also match the body type (more oval than round)
4. Target audience (customers) of dolls is 5-12 years old girls in Middle East
5. Beauty and cuteness element should be the core characteristic of face
6. Sketch should be humanistic and semi realistic with fantasy expressions element (bigger eyes etc.) - please see images attached
7. Innocence & pleasant expression should be evident
8. Multiple faces angles will be preferred (no just front and profile).

    no offense to the winner, i love your work but it doesn't show an innocent girl who can attract 5-12 yrs old girl. is this doll for adult collector? just saying

      Jan, there sure is room for improvement and the winner has assured us that he would give us the full coordination in applying the changes and feedback we have given him before we award. The face we chosen is almost the one we envisioned plus option to improve it with artist. We are more happy to feel the strength of the art he produced and confident to make it perfect with him.     1 of this contest rules is : "Target audience (customers) of dolls is 5-12 years old girls in Middle East" which no kid will be a fan of this winner girl pale face
    , i respect the winner for his good art skills so no offense but this winner entry wasn't compatible with the contest rules and the girl isn't attractive, my 1st impression to the girl is "A girl just waked up and didn't wash her face and her eyes gives me a feeling that the mucus is still there " , once again a full respect for the winner and his awesome skills, but this entry wasn't compatible with contest rules... "Btw it didn't happen before in my life that my entry got REJECTED!       Alexandra, this is not fake project. We have been actively involved with the runner ups and winner as well. The winner has assured us that he would give us the full coordination in applying the changes and feedback we have given him before we award. We have been truly patient and active with more than 50+ artists and appreciate their input but the face we chosen is almost the one we envisioned plus option to improve it with artist.       Ahmed, unfortunately you character is not aligned with our expectations. We need semi humanistic face with innocence and beauty. Your face is cartoonish and looks clumsy.
