Hello All! We are looking to have 25 avatars designed. The winner will provide 25 final avatars. HOWEVER, each entry only needs to include one from each of these categories:

rednecks
thugs/gangstas
mafia/gansters (different than gangstas)
valley girls
nerds

All should be full body, but nice enough that we can also use them from the chest upwards and still look good. Each should look different, have very clean lines (we are not looking for sketches), and be colorful and dressed appropriately to what they are. These will be used for an iPhone and android app where people can choose different rednecks to be or different thugs to be and so on. The winner of this contest will also be given the rest of this project for all additional items needed for the app and also all future work with the app developing new avatars and experiences. Think exploding kittens cleanliness, but better.

I'm attaching a few examples of rednecks and nerds... this is just an example... we are open to other styles, so long as they can be used for all types of groups and are full body. We will give feedback often on each design submitted on the main channel so read thoroughly. I'm also attaching the examples from exploding kittens so you can see what we mean by groups.

Rednecks: country folk that are kind of poor, sloppy
Thugs/Gangstas: kind of like punk kids that wear their pants too low and think they're badasses
Mafia/Gangsters: like from the 1920's and 1930's... tough guys that wore cool hats... think Humphrey Bogart
valley girls: preppy girls (all colors)... think Kardashians
nerds:nerds

The winner will be the one with 25 final designs that we love...we will ask for changes if you want feedback and expect those changes during the contest if you want to win. Once you win, their might be final edits, but hopefully very few.

Remember, whoever wins this gets all of our additional work.

Do NOT use other peoples' work. All designs most be custom. To ensure this, the top three candidates we are considering will be given one additional avatar to design in the style you submitted, but it will be very specific to show that you are actually doing these custom for just us.

I agree with you BayroutteSdmf, the rules put in place create disadvantage to contestants instead are really convenient for the CH, competition award WAAAAYYY to low and they don't even want to seal the contest? ah ah you smart CH, you're not going to see my art in this contest;)

Hi sir, verry interesting contest, and I will participate... - but to upload not 1 but 5 different original character designs to an open contest? Just no, I am sorry but people tend to steal stuff, not only for this contest but steal it and use somewhere else... So If making contest #sealed is not a option for you - can we upload some random pic like entry #1 and you contact us in a private msg so we can show our work there? thanks for understanding, waiting for your reply... regards

  I think we'll survive. The sad part is, if you contact ANY of the people we've worked with on freelancer, they all get paid large bonuses and get lots of follow-up work. The time it's taken you to complain about this, you could have easily drawn five avatars. You are definitely NOT a fit for us so please just move on.
