SurvivalPack offers a prioritized list of items to be considered when assembling a backpack kit to be quickly relied on when prompt departure and/or self-reliance is demanded in emergency situations. From standard essentials like waterproof matches, spare keys, flashlight and pocket knife, to special-use gear like car power inverter, green laser pointer and potassium iodide pills, over 100 items are listed and pictured, with details on use and an Internet reference source for additional information. Version 1.0 allows the user to choose from among the items a "MyList" selection and email it to self, friends or family as a reference. (Multiple list features are planned in the next version.) The developer will be regularly updating the list based on continuing research and user suggestions, and all such added items and supporting data can be updated by the user via an "Update Data" button on the Information screen.
