I'm seeking a professional to develop a custom logstash plugin for me. This plugin will be fundamentally tasked to provide information on my 15 mysql pipelines which run at specific times every day. I can provide a shell of my pipeline configuration file if needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop a plugin for logstash in Ruby(I believe is the default language) that will return the following information for each my pipelines.
#1. Pipeline name and start time (Start of last run)
#2. Pipeline name and stop time (Time last completed)
#3. Pipeline name and duration of last run (#2 - #1)
#4. Pipeline name and number of documents sent to elastic from mysql in run
#5. Pipeline name and Errors in last run (Yes / No)
Required output from Freelancer:
- Working gemspec file
- Working .rb file that conducts the above requirements and post to a log file
- Working .gem file that will install into logstash without error
- Documentation on installation.
Plugin should work with the Official Docker Logstash 8.11.0 outputting the above data after sending data to Elasticsearch.
This would be best written to a log file end state I am feeding this data to Grafana either through the Logstash-output-loki or any other suggestion.
I've looked several times over getting this data from the API, log files, etc and just cannot get specifically what I need, thus turning to logstash plugin.
