I need to modify and implement forward error correction on ZeroShell.
Well, maybe not FEC as it’s normally implemented. This is what I want to do:
I want to double the traffic between two VPN (Lan to Lan and ZeroShell in both ends.) Basically send every packet twice. On the receiving end watch packet order and accept the packet that arrives first, the late packet get dropped.
The purpose of this is to be able to get a stable connection on an unstable link, in this case several 3G modem that’s bundled together in ZeroShell. Currently I’m having problem with packet loss and jitter.
