We are starting a board game company called Lentil Crepe Games. There are 3 founders who are all south Indian who are interested in creating fun, engaging games for the world. Currently, all 3 founders live in America either studying or working in the corporate world.
The idea for the name Lentil Crepe came from us going through our brainstorming process in how we can be creative yet fun :). Lentil Crepes are Dosas, but because most western cultures don't fully recognize the word, they use descriptive names showcasing the main ingredients in the dish. It is a play on how the western civilization behaves with non-Caucasian cultures.
We are obviously not a food/restaurant company - having a dosa as a logo is not what we were going for. Something that is abstract including the elements of a dosa and board games is a start. We think board game components including cards, dice, miniatures, etc can work. The dosa doesn't have to be a circle, it can be rolled, open, square etc. Feel free to google to understand more. We are open to ideas!
