Creative Writing IDE

My writing workflow requires some help, and that is where this application comes in.

I've code-named the application "Bramble" for now; it's purpose is fairly straight forward:

1. Provide a project-based approach to writing;

2. Provide a simple interface for organizing the disparate parts of a novel (Parts, Chapters, Notes, Plot Points, Snippets, etc.);

3. Portability.

This last point is the most important.

I've come to realize that I will never be working on a Linux system at any point, and I rarely touch a mac. Say that, cross-platform requirements are out the door for the time being.

I've been taking my writing with me on a USB key, and the freedom to not have to carry around my laptop has been liberating. But I am limited only by the software I have access to on other machines. As such, the application should ideally be a Win32 application, but I will consider other viable alternatives as long as they are portable -- the goal is to run it from my USB key. My text editor is portable as well, and I would like to be able to use it as the default editor for my text files when run from the USB key.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
